A complete foot care appointment covering the whole foot. Linda assesses your feet, treats the nails, removes hard skin, corns and calluses as needed, and finishes by advising on how to keep your feet healthy between visits. Ideal if you'd like everything looked after in one thorough session.
Nails only
A focused appointment for the trimming, thinning and filing of toenails — particularly helpful if nails have become thickened, difficult to reach, or uncomfortable. A quicker option when the nails are your main concern.
Ingrown toenails
Linda carefully treats the nail to relieve the discomfort of an ingrown toenail and advises on how to reduce the chance of it returning. If the toe is badly inflamed or infected, she will advise on the best next step for you.
What is an ingrown toenail?
An ingrown toenail happens when the edge or corner of a toenail grows into the surrounding skin, which can cause pain, redness, swelling and sometimes infection. It most often affects the big toe. Tight footwear and cutting nails too short can make it more likely.

Corn & callus removal
Linda removes corns and calluses safely and comfortably, and can advise on the underlying causes — such as footwear or pressure points — so they're less likely to build up again.
What are corns and calluses?
Corns and calluses are areas of hard, thickened skin that develop when the skin is exposed to repeated pressure or friction. Calluses are larger patches of rough skin, often on the soles, while corns are smaller and more defined, with a harder centre, and can be painful when pressed.

Verrucae treatment
Linda assesses the verruca and recommends a treatment approach suited to it, along with advice on managing it and reducing the chance of spreading it to others.
What is a verruca?
A verruca is a wart that appears on the soles of the feet, caused by a viral infection of the skin. Verrucas are harmless but can be uncomfortable if they're in a weight-bearing area, and they can spread through direct contact or on wet surfaces such as swimming pool floors.

Diabetic foot care
Linda provides specialist assessment and ongoing care to help protect long-term foot health for patients with diabetes, and will flag anything that needs closer attention or referral.
Why does diabetes affect the feet?
Diabetes can reduce blood flow to the feet and, over time, affect the nerves, which may reduce sensation. This means small problems can go unnoticed and take longer to heal, so regular professional foot checks are an important part of managing diabetes and catching issues early.

What is a fungal nail infection?
